World Brotherhood Organisation - Intro

In 1999, Late Raunaq Singh, envisioned the World Brotherhood Organisation (WBO) . His vision was carried forward by Mr. S. S. Marwah, a dedicated philanthropist and social worker.
Now Mr. Kapil Khanna has taken the Presidentship of this Esteemed Organisation, inspiring a movement for social harmony and transformation and he is bearing up all the responsibilities with great spirit and vision to meet its considerable objectives and to fulfill the dreams of WBO.
World Brotherhood Organisation, an international voluntary, non-profit, non-political, social organization is deeply committed to the service of mankind, and on the other hand, conveying message of 'Universal Brotherhood' among inhabitants of other part of the Globe, an essence to maintain peace in the contemporary world.
World Brotherhood Organisation, a kaleidoscope of society, provides a common platform to the people from diverse background and persuades them to come forward for amelioration of the society as a unit and to foster brotherhood, harmony, and unity among all religions. The modern world is undergoing rapid change—technological growth, global mobility, and cultural exchange are transforming societies. Yet, rising geopolitical tensions, extremism, inequality, and polarization threaten global unity.
In this context, the principle of brotherhood—or Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam ("the world is one family")—is more crucial than ever. Beyond tolerance, true brotherhood means empathy, mutual respect, and shared responsibility. While rooted in India’s civilizational and constitutional values, it demands renewed effort and collective action today.
The World Brotherhood Organisation (WBO), founded in 1999 to promote peace and cross-cultural harmony, has hosted a panel discussion: “World Brotherhood – Issues, Challenges, and the Way Forward” This dialogue has featured lawmakers, diplomats, scholars, and civil society leaders to explore the meaning of brotherhood today, the challenges it faces, and the strategies—policy, institutional, and grassroots—to strengthen it.

Key Objectives:

  • Understand current challenges to global and national brotherhood
  • Explore the role of leadership, dialogue, and institutions in social harmony
